Mountain Valley Properties was established in June 1999 specializing in condominiums and private homes in the Snowshoe/Slatyfork and surrounding areas of Pocahontas County.  Catering to the needs of property owners and guests that visit our area!
Debbie is the  Broker/Owner of Mountain Valley Properties and Mountain Valley Realty and  a West Virginia native hailing from the Clarksburg area. Debbie left West Virginia in 1978 and moved to Florida. While living in Florida, Debbie worked in engineering at the Kennedy Space Center until 1987 when she relocated with her husband and 8 year old daughter to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. That year Debbie went to work for the Jackson Hole Racquet Club Resort where her love of the Resort Industry began and in 1997, as any West Virginian does, she was drawn back to her home State, this time choosing Pocahontas County and the Outdoor Activities that abound.  WE ARE VERY PROUD TO BE IN OUR 10TH YEAR OF SERVICE IN POCAHONTAS COUNTY!  Thanks to everyone!!

Bobbie Jo Simmons
Bobbie Jo is no longer the office manager and loves to tell everyone she doesn't work here anymore.  Her Real Esate license as a sales associate still hangs in our office and has since since November 2000.  Bobbie Jo started with Mountain Valley properties in  housekeeping and over the years moved  into reservations and now is our "Top Advisor".  Bobbi Jo's loyalty, hard work and enthusiasm for the properties we manage and the guest's and homeowners comfort is truly an asset to us all. Bobbi Jo grew up in Green Bank and has 3 daughters in the Pocahontas County School System.  Now for the update 2 years ago Bobbie Jo and her husband Bud, just as the last of their 3 daughters was leaving the home, adopted 2 more girls ages 2 & 3 (sisters) and that became the main focus (why she doesn't work here anymore) additionally her first grand child was born!   When we need anything she is always there and ready to lend a hand!! 



Staci Beckwith
Staci is our reservationist, she is originally from Saint Augustine Florida. She moved to Pocahontas County when her parents decided to move away from the heat and travel until they found mountains. That was about five years ago. She intended to move as far away from this freezing place as soon as possible when she graduated from high school. But, she managed to fall in love, with a guy and this county! Staci married Dustin August of 2009 and is happily living at the base of Snowshoe Mountain with her husband. She has been working at Mountain Valley Properties for a year in December 2009.

CHICO has been with Mountain Valley Properties since October 2004.  Although a little tempremental he loves living in the mountains!
