Snowshoe Mountain has made a $35,000 donation to help rehabilitate land around Sharp’s Knob here in Pocahontas County! Most of the restoration efforts will take place on Saturday, May 19. A large volunteer workforce including many Snowshoe employees, will start around 11:00AM, spending the day at Sharp’s Knob planting trees, moving dirt, and performing other tasks to help with the project. All are welcome to come out, lend a hand, and learn more about how a diverse ecology means a stronger West Virginia. Volunteers will be provided with lunch and transportation to and from the site.
Join us Saturday, May 19 for a day at Sharp’s Knob.
Shuttle to location will leave at 10:00am from The Inn at Snowshoe. Planing and ground preparation will start at 11:00am and will go until 3:00pm.
