Wild Edibles Festival @ Watoga State Park

May 3 - May 4

Join us at Watoga State Park for a taste of the wild! Our event will begin on Friday evening with a hike around the lake at 3:00 p.m., followed by a presentation by Key Note Speaker, Georganne Derick at 7:00 p.m. Saturday's festivities will occur at the Picnic Shelter area with various vendors, demonstrations, live music, opportunities to hike and much more! *This event is apart of the 2019 Cal. Price Appalachian Enrichment Series*

Kid’s Fishing Derby

Youth under 15 can enjoy this special day and go fishing on the lake during our annual fishing derby. Be sure to meet us between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. to register. The derby itself will last from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with prizes and certificates given out shortly after. Join us for what is to be a great day of fishing, fellowship and fun.

Three River Avian Center

June 15 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Watoga State Park is pleased to welcome the Three Rivers Avian Center to the Activities Building at 7:00 p.m. as they present their program "Wings of Wonder." This is your chance to see live birds of prey in a close setting, including owls, hawks, falcons and a bald eagle. This is an excellent program for an audience of all ages.

Mountain Trails Challenge

Watoga Art in the Park Festival

Held at the Picnic Shelter area, this annual festival has something for all ages. Join us to participate in various demonstrations, workshops, purchase art, listen to live music and so much more! Festival will go on from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.

Disc Golf Tournament

September 7

Enjoy the cooler air and participate in our first ever disc golf tournament. There is no entry fee and registration will begin at 9:00 a.m, with the tournament beginning at 10 a.m. and going until all participants have played. You can participate either individually, or in pairs. Door prizes will be given out shortly afterwards.
